As a Debutots Drama Practitioner I find my classes so enjoyable and fulfilling - no two classes are ever the same and it’s fascinating to watch the children develop their confidence, imagination, speaking and listening skills.
As a mum I love to read stories to my 9 year old son and we often create adventures together and, for Ben, this has fostered a love of reading and also writing stories and, for me, this proves just how important stories and creative play are!
It never ceases to amaze me how the children respond to Debutots’ weekly stories and adventures. Over the term their confidence, imagination, literacy and communication skills blossom and grow - even the quietest of children open up as they become absorbed in our adventures. It’s so rewarding to watch these important life skills develop in our children.
Debutots is a great asset to any nursery or school as all the classes are linked to the Curricular Guidance for the Pre-School Child and also the Primary Curriculum for P1, P2 and P3.
