Hi, I’m Martine and I’m thrilled to bring Debutots to the children of Oxford and Surroundings.
As a teacher, writer and a mother of three, I believe strongly in the power of stories and the role of dramatic play in giving little people the confidence to understand the world and their place in it.
At Debutots, we play with stories, we learn with stories and we have oodles of fun. We run classes in nurseries and schools, we run story adventure holiday camps, intergenerational sessions and parties.

Parent & Child Bookings
Nurseries & Schools
In our storytelling and drama play classes, we visit a new story each week; we jump into imaginary worlds and combine movement, listening and dramatic characterisation so that children can explore and develop their language and understanding through creative fun.
All our sessions are linked to the EYFS and KS1 catering for ages from birth to 7 years and we can provide Planning Packs to show how each lesson meets the objectives in the national curricula.
Events
HOLIDAY CAMPS
Debutots runs Story Adventure Holiday Camps during the Half Term holidays for ages (4-7).
WORKSHOPS
Debutots can deliver a bespoke workshop to your setting to support a theme / topic you are currently working on and we also provide enrichment for special calendar dates.
Parties
Debutots Parties are suitable for ages 1 to 7 and they feature story, music and themed party games along with various optional add-ons. We have a whole list of adventures to choose from but if these don’t do it, we are very happy to customize something that suits your little one. If you’d like to know more, please get in touch.
Intergenerational
What better medium than interactive storytelling to facilitate joining generations with imagination...
Intergenerational Debutots brings together care home residents and pre-school children for fun-filled, stimulating and interactive storytelling workshops.
Watch grown ups delight in stepping into an imaginary world with excited pre-schoolers as collectively they contribute to and share an original Debutots story along with music, bubbles and lots of laughter.
