Come and tell your story!

I'm Steve - a parent, storyteller, musician and drama facilitator who's spent 25+ years working in education. I've seen how play transforms kids: quiet ones finding their roar; energetic ones channeling creativity into magical worlds.
I run storytelling and drama workshops, classes in nurseries and schools, intergenerational sessions in care homes, birthday parties as well as 1-2-1 confidence tutoring for ages 0-7 across West London.
I believe playful, curious children become confident, empathetic adults. Early years are when we learn to ask questions, try new things, and see through others' eyes - the foundation for lifelong confidence and empathy.

Nurseries & Schools

We run story storytelling and dramatic play classes for children in nurseries and primary schools. Our sessions are all linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS – birth to 5 years) and Key Stage 1 (KS1 age 5-7) and we can provide Planning Packs to show how each session meets the objectives in the national curricula.

Each week Steve has the children captivated by the way he delivers the stories. The children are engaged and their imaginations are being enriched, including those with less confidence. Sarah, Nursery Manager

Every Debutots party brings stories to life, with children becoming characters in magical adventures. Our experienced facilitators create confidence-building experiences where every child shines. Choose from our extensive range of themes or work with us to create something bespoke.

Steve set up an online Debutots birthday story for my daughter and 14 little friends. They loved it; one boy cried when it finished, asking to have Steve back! It's a winning formula! Madeleine, Mum

Intergenerational

Joining Generations With Imagination is a project which partners residential care homes and pre schools or nurseries for intergenerational story sessions.
The impact of the project is incredibly powerful with the benefits for both residents and children visible the second the children walk in the room.
The regular sessions use storytelling and imaginative play to foster and encourage wonderful interactions and friendships between the generations.
