Imagination takes us beyond physical limits, across time, through perspective and into possibility. It’s the “what if” that is the seed of scientific thinking; creative writing; problem solving and invention.
As a drama-in-education company we firmly believe that before knowledge comes imagination. Without imagination there are no hypotheses; no men on the moon; no relativity; no black holes, dark matter or multiverse.

In imagining what it’s like to become another person, in stepping into another’s shoes, children develop compassion, emotional intelligence and strong social capability – something AI hasn’t quite nailed just yet (and shows no sign of doing so!)

EDTech is infiltrating classrooms at an alarming rate – and that’s coming from a company that embraces tech and uses AI for business. So many programmes that my own children use for school don’t give them any space for using their own imagination. Do we need tech? Of course, but children still need opportunities to develop, embrace and use their own imagination.
We are determined to make sure imagination stays in our education system and that’s why we start with the early years and work all the way through with children and settings until the end of primary school.
